The general operating budget of the KMHS Orchestra Boosters supports the KMHS Orchestra program by providing enrichment above what is supplied from the county, such as: providing regular professional clinicians to work with the students in a smaller student to teacher ratio, providing orchestra camp, providing tools and equipment for the orchestra, paying for ensemble evaluation fees, music resources, maintaining instruments, subsidizing field trips and the end of year banquet. The enrichment fees associated with the KMHS Orchestra Boosters are assessed so that all of the orchestra students at KMHS can have a quality experience above what is provided from the county. To assist in meeting this budget, the KMHS Orchestra Boosters coordinates several fundraisers including the Sponsorship Program.

We are adamant that no student will ever be precluded from our orchestra because of financial hardship. However, everyone benefits from the booster club, so we ask that you find a way to contribute something in some way. You can pay $10 a month, or you pay half one semester and half the next, or perhaps you could volunteer at one of our many events, as we always need volunteers. Whatever works best for you and your family will be appreciated. If you need to pay in a different way than the full dues, all we ask is that you communicate with us to let us know your plans, or let us help you to come up with an alternative.

If you would like to pay by check, please make the check payable to KMHS Orchestra Boosters (KMHSOB). Once filled out, have your student place it in the green box in the orchestra classroom.
